The latest in social distancing hypocrisy comes in the form of a viral dance video recorded during a Black Lives Matter protest in Chicago.
In the video, crowds of people can be seen packed next to one another. The few that are wearing masks are keeping them around their necks, exposing their noses and mouths as protesters shout and dance into each other. In other words, all pretenses of “social distancing” have been abandoned as the largely young crowd enjoys the privilege of protesting for what the media has deemed an acceptable reason.
The demonstration took place to commemorate the removal of a statue of Christopher Columbus, one of the many historical figures deemed “problematic” by progressive pundits who essentially control the mainstream narrative in America now. This comes as Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who signed off on the removal of the statue, made a separate deal with federal law enforcement for assistance as lawlessness runs rampant in the city.
As you watch the video below, we encourage you to think about all of the things you’ve been told you aren’t able to do because of the global coronavirus pandemic — a disease with a 99.7 percent survival rate.
In the off chance you’re able to dine out at a restaurant or a bar, you must be seated outside. You don’t have to wear a mask when you’re eating or drinking, but you do when you excuse yourself from the table to visit the restroom.
If you’re one of the many Americans unfortunate to experience the death of a friend or family member, you’ve either had to reschedule the funeral, call it off entirely, or hold a smaller gathering so you don’t get busted.
Grocery shopping is a new experience all on its own. In some locations, you have to stand in line and wait for other shoppers to leave the store before you’re allowed in — masked up of course. And if you think that this dystopian nightmare is even kind of ridiculous, you’ve been told that you’re “part of the problem” and that the blood of your grandparents is on your hands.
We’re still waiting on the mainstream media to get the message to the people in the video below, who seem to get a special pass for reasons no one is able to explain.
